In the construction of this car park we supplied and laid approximately 80, 15 metre lorry loads of hardcore it was laid over a terram membrane to stop the clay from pushing up through the hardcore it was then topped off with road plantings and rolled to give a good hard wearing surface.
This path was created in a woodland setting to create easy access for walkers and maintenance, we used a road stone which would blend in to compliment the surroundings giving a good hard wearing surface.
THE KITCHEN GARDEN
This old kitchen garden is being restored back to its former glory we used brick edging for the paths which were then brought up to level with a type one road stone and then covered with concrete. A 25m washed pea beach was then added whilst the concrete was still wet to give a non slip surface.
We applied the same method to the construction of the paths around the lawn but we used a timber edging instead making it easier for lawn mowers to cross.
